VAG EDC 15 Suite, No Pump Voltage n146

Postby jase1979 » Sat Jul 05, 2014 9:55 pm

Hi I'm new to the site, so hello.

I've been modifying a map from my 88hp 2.5 AJT VW T4 transporter (1999) to be more like the 102 ACV map. I've installed the same injectors and intercooler, the only other difference is the map.

When looking at other ACV maps in VAGEDC suite, the n146 maps is shown, however my standard map from my van doesn't show map for the pump voltage (n146).

Additionally, when looking at the values for the n175 all the values are 100%, is this right? or has VAgsuite identified the wrong map.

I've attached my map with some alterations to drivers wish, smoke map, torque limiter, egr etc.

I'm guessing that the n75 map isn't used in a waste gate controlled turbo?

Can anyone help with the pump voltage map? I think I have an early revision of the software. Is the software in the same ECU dump as the maps?

So can the software be upgraded as well?

Many thanks

N75 map isn't used in this file. It is set to 0

Thank, it's strange that vagedc doesn't recognised it as a map for that address in the file but caged does see it in the other Acv files I have downloaded

It is not strange at all. Your software dose not have the standard VAG map layout and this is why VAG EDC 15 Suite dose not recognise the map.

Thanks for the address 780f8, I've found an ACV file with the pump voltage map at that address and copied the data across. Just need the balls to flash it now! :D

Thank you. I managed to copy all of the maps across to my ecu dump, and I have flashed the ecu, the van drives much better. I now want to tune the maps a little more :D Any ideas please let me know.

Hi, sorry this thread is old but related.

Iv got a T4 camper in and its had Bosch P1 injectors fitted
Iv contacted our remap guys and Iv been told that the pump voltage needs adjusting in VCDS is this correct or is the pump voltage inside the map file and nothing needs changing? on standard map it is lumpy on idle but sounds better.

Is this the map on this address? 7446A
attached org read below

Cheers
