SIVAVA universal programmer

Postby kapilamuni » Fri Jun 20, 2014 7:12 am

Hi all,

this is my 1st post and I'm new to ECU tuning too.
I bought the above programmer from ebay and would like to receive yr comments on it's suitability for a newbee.
At the moment I'm strolling through Youtube videos to educate myself on the subject.

I guess this programmer is some useless crap from ebay as nobody seems to have even heard of it.
Thanks anyway.

What programmer Willem PCB 3.5 or 5.0 ?
or the new fancy one ?
I use PCB for 6 or seven years and it is a very good tool , if you got the rigth adapters you can write a lot of eprons for very low price !
At first, I strougle a lot to make work !
you version is LPT or USB ?

I have a Sivava/Willem, but haven't used it in many years, only maybe a few of the adapters that came with it.

An automatic programmer is better, something like a TL866, no need to check through manuals and adjust DIP switches and jumpers for each eprom type.

Well some trial and error and it works like charm.

You are correct with willem, you need to be careful with jumpers and switches
