maybe for audi a6 is limited to 51. On my 320d is limited to 65 mg. VP44 has internal ECM which has its own software and depending by that software the pump has a limit..and also advance for more fuel is mechanically limited, you need to lift the pump.
On solution is to put bigger nozzles on injectors and actual fuel will be bigger, less stress on pump.

vp44 works via solenoid and vp37 via speoer motor, right???????????

as i readed, if you abuse whit the pwm of the vp44 (over 50%) the solenoid gets really hot and then starts problems...............

Yea exactly, after 50% duty cycle the problems will appear..but in this ecu(bmw 320d) cant control that selenoid. VP44 has internal ecu which has own software and i cant modify that even i tune my ECU file...well my limit is around 165 hp with stock hardware from 136..and thats it:) enough for now

Another question here... can i put nozzles from audi A6 2.5 tdi? are they bigger? audi have the same injection system and vp44 pump.
