Has anyone ever done some decent logs to confirm wether or not this mod effectively works?
I mean using either PP2000/Lexia or DIAGBOX?
Or any other kind of manufacturer specific diagnostics?

As I was having a logging session last night, I selected anything EGR related in DIAGBOX and found out my EGR was still working ( I did it because I was getting some EGR related messages).
As far as I could tell, the EGR was still operating, pretty much like it should be... :?:
I will put the hysteresis back to normal and compare the 2 logs again to be sure.

But I would like some feedback from different people on this

Not got any definitive logs, but it certainly alters the boost. Mine was reading approx. 200 higher.
Need to log my new map so will try to see what it gives

I have got disabled egr (by hysteresis) on my C4 1,6Hdi 9HX and work ok! I drve about 20000km's with it.
The egr pipe are cold always.

Me too I disabled my hysteresis on my C4 1.6Hdi 110 9HZ and it seems to work. It stay at 1% on diag.

I'm sorry I don't have logs before and after. I disabled also Fap and boost seems to be altered.

Is there a thing to modify in ecu to compensate the hystérésis disabling?

You talking about Egr messages. I suppose dtc? Your egr valve was good (no errors) before modifying hysteresis?

Since I've pretty much maxed out my injectors now, there aint much left to do...
Still need to smoothen out my boostspike tho...

But I've taken up some sidequests now :D

I extended my MAP sensor range and it was able to record 2550mbar now, where it would top of at 2450mbar before :D

Also tried to disable the EGR and TVA using the AirCtl_swGov.
CEL didnt light up yet and no sign of limp so far after a 1 hour drive with the EGR and TVA unplugged, but I do have about 5 stored fault codes...
Gonna drive it unplugged until the CEL lights up
