Citreon 1.4HDi SID804 Tuning

Postby jacobs53 » Fri Dec 19, 2014 5:01 am

Hi,

I would like to remap my citreon C2 1.4HDi to improve driveability since I am now communting 100 miles per day. Unfortuntely, I can't find much information on the Siemens SID804 ECU in regards to map address/location but additionally I am also struggling to find a suitable tool which can safely read/write the new map into the ECU.

I was considering purchasing a remap from an independant tuning company but I have heard so many horror stories and its difficult to select a suitable company.

Has anyone got any experience in tuning the Siemens SID804 ECU?

Thanks
Lee

First thing you should do before starting with ECU modifications are dynamic logs. So testing your engine at full load and writing engine datas to your computer (in your case with for example Pugeot Planet). This help you to check your engine condition before making mod. Check your torque and power before mod. After file mod you should of course also check all engine values if they are correct. If not you should do as many corrections as are needed for making a perfect mod. At the end check your torque and power again. Remember many ready files are from another cars! Very important is to chceck how they are made, how many power do they give, how does the files look like inside and finally what does dynamic logs show you.
