EDC17 BMW E90 320d (2010 model)

Postby qtmtuning » Thu Feb 12, 2015 9:43 am

Good Day

I need some guidance please.

I have a 320d EDC17 in the shop that was remapped by 2 different tuners in the past. One tuner used Dimsport Genius and the other Kess v2. On both occasions the car was flashed via OBD. Do you think it will be okay to attempt an OBD flash using CMD? If the flash does not succeed will i be able to recover the ECU?

edc17 is always better to do in boot mode. you make full backup and than you can play with it.

Hi m8,
Firstly make a backup using boot, then flash over obd2 . If fails you will be able to recover the ecu using the bbot backup file.
Regards.
