Licensed mechanic, new to tuning, excited to learn!

Postby E.Cyprian » Wed Feb 18, 2015 9:58 pm

I have done a fair bit of Google research on the topic, and am very familiar with general diagnostic procedures, oscilloscope usage, and other common procedures used to evaluate the performance of said vehicle and identify malfunctions in the system. However, I have only done this within the realms of factory programming. I do want to learn, I don't have alot of money, and I have a thousand kids. I would really appreciate it if anyone could post links that would give me something to sink my teeth into, I would truly be in your debt!

no money, no time ? forget it.

doing chiptuning on a professional level (and anything else is a waste of time) is expensive and
takes all your time.

and as i see, you better ask for the golden spoon instead spending some time with the "search"-function
or asking google. :(

next question is "where can i buy a cheap galetto-clone" ??

Ha ha yeah, that or the Kess clone, but I've read that people have more problems than results with the Chinese knockoffs. My time is limited, but drive to learn makes this a possibility, even if the learning curve takes longer. Money, obviously there are aspects of my life that take priority, but say I had 500.00 to begin experimenting at a hobbyist level, where would a seasoned mind say that money is well placed?
