if you put 60mg on smoke and torque limit, you have to have 60 on drivers wish to.

Yea, its obvious that all requests and limiters must be 60 mg.

I have updateted drivers wish frm 2500 to 4000 to 60mg but now VAGEDCSUIT shows 145HP and 356NM, I am not realy sure that this will be safe mode this is why I have limitted it with drivers wish in the previous one.

Few remaining questions. I put numbers so it is easier to answer:
1. Boost target map - Have I done the axis extension correctly to 60mg? originaly only till 45
2. Do I have to extend axis in smoke map to 1150? currently 1050. Or the ECU will do the calculation itself?
3. Smoke map - I see 3 smoke maps / -20C/40C/80C. I have modified only 80C. Is that correct?
4. Start of injection -it has the values for 60mg so here should be ok?
5. N75 duty cycle - there are values only up to 45mg. Shall I also exted that axis?

I will be pleased to see the answers to my questions. I hope they are not stupid.

Is it safe to test it like this on a car?

Put for boost last column 55 to create boost earlier than max fueling.
Edit n75 only if you have boost spikes.
Make tests tests and again tests, just by theory you can't develop a good map.

So I shall exchange on axis 60 to 55? is that what u mean?

And final one - can I test it on a car is this shape? :D

I have tested the file on a car and it runs pretty well.
No smoke. I didnt change maps before 2000rpm so more or less it drives the same, but above 2500rpm it accelerates pretty good.

What is the next stage? what should I focus on my next changes? Anyone can answer my previous questions?

What do you want to do with this car? how much power?
You can buy a set of injector nozzles from 1.9 TDI 131 hp version or 150 ARL and a bigger turbo, hibrid or from 150 hp.
You can achieve up to 170 175 hp, now i would say that you have ~135.

But having stock hardware you can start to edit duration and SOI maps. Go with durations to 35 - 36 degrees until 3000 rpm. and add +2 degrees to soi maps. Extend duration maps to 65 mg and add more torque and smoke maps.
You have to edit a lot for more power.

I dont wan to go hardwere tuning, only soft.

May aim is to have a reasonable power from that engine and still be on a safe side.
Thanks for advice, I will look in to those maps as well and post a and test the file.
After testes I think I would like to have a bit more power from 1500-1700 where I didnt chaged the maps.

Hi,

I am testing now a previous file and it works great. But as you all know we always want more :angel:

Could you please have a look on this file?
This time I have updated most of the maps for 65mg. Is the ATD egine ok with those?
Please chech SOI and duration maps and N75 as this is first time I have touched them so really appreciate your comments.

Does it look ok for ATD 101hp stock? or is it now too strong?

You edit maps strange again without compariing them.
Smoke map at 2250 has 60 mg but torque has 65, decide how much you want at 2250.
With durations you can go more, untiol 34 - 35 degrees around 3500 but with that turbo pressure you`ll have smoke.
Well my idea is to go with power until you see smoke, and thats the limit..turbo limit, i` wouldnt pass 2250 - 2300 mbar.

You are power addicted if you are not ok with stage 1 remap, my idea is , buy nozzles from 131 hp or 150 , i think they are the same, you can find them for a small price, and a hyibrid turbo , send your turbo to a company which makes hybrids and go with 2500 - 2600 bar. Well then we discuss in another terms and another league. can have 80 mg and 2600 , this is 450+ NM at 2250 rpm or 2500 to avoid clutch damage and at 4500 200hp.
I saw ATD engine made at 255 hp around 4800 rpm(hp increases with rpm at max fueling) , and car has no problems, stil orginal clutch and flywheel but max power settings starts from 2500 only. Car was made by a dyno big brand company, tested and guaranteed for power and reliability.
ATD internals can keep around 250 hp...on diesel cars i would no go further than 100 hp per 1 liter of engine. well 1.9 tdi = 190 - 200 hp enough to be safe.
