how to know if checksum is correct

Postby mecs26 » Sat Apr 04, 2015 10:38 pm

i have made some modification in the original map of a peugeot 406 2.0hdi 110hp the original file have the checksum:0x4A6765E and the mod file 0x4A66E96. Is the checksum of the mod file wrong? Both have the same size: 524288 = 0x80000.
How can i know for sure is the checksum of a mod file is correct?
Thanks.

thanks for the reply.
So its normal the ori file have the checksum:4A6765E and the mod file have the checksum:4A66E96?
I have alredy use a checksum corrector tool and it say that checksum is correct.
Makes me confusion that the checksum of the two files is not the same and the tool tells me that it is correct. Is that normal?
