Hi all, i have a Vauxhall Vectra b 2.2 dti......im looking into getting rid of the egr but have read a few threads where people have tried and end up with the car in limp mode.

Can anyone help me out with any info on how to delete the egr without having any engine management issues?

Not sure about EDC15M exactly, but in case of EDC15 generally, look for the switchboard at the beginning of the data section. The byte sequence is shown somewhere here.
