EDC17 (Siemens PPD) - read & write via OBD2?

Hello members,

I have here VW Touran 2007 2.0TDi and Skoda Octavia II vRS 2007 2.0TDi. Both are with 2.0TDi 125kW engines, with EDC17 Siemens PPD system.

I use FG Tech - Galletto 4 Master v.54, read over K-LINE and CAN is OK, so can I flash this ECU (EDC17 Siemens PPD) over OBD II or not?

Think you need To be more Clear on What Ecu your is using

Bosch = EDC17
Siemens = PPD.x

Thank you very much for reply, the Skoda Octavia II vRS 2.0TDi 125kW 2007 is PPD1.2 G (03G906018HB).

So can my FG Galletto 4 v.54 Master make correction checksum during uploading soft into ECU? There is no risk to brick unit with file with woring chks?

I will try it today, depends on info what I have that will FGtech Galletto 4 v.54 Master make calculate and checksum correction itself before/during upload SW into ECU (Siemens PPD).
