Most of cases NO. You need to look what is changed on touran and do same changes on golf.

Some tips:

IN my experience look software number, but should be sligtly different....these gearboxes are a bit different..

If you have the sure that software is same, (for example by comparing the bin in editor) or checking software version.....

Have you compared in editor???

In this EDC16U1 for sure you can use it and car will start, as flash has no inmo sector....

99% car will work if reference number is same ( even with different sw sometimes)

EDIT: Ive seen later Golf vs Touran.....should not be same reference....so should NOT WORK.....

SORRY MY MISTAKE
