What i need to remap ?

I have a vw golf 4 1.8 150 hp 20v , and i want to make a simple remap "homemade" , so what i need to make this ?
Now,i have a simple vcds 12.12 vag :) , and i need a new map ecu because i don`t know who to make.

sorry for my english and .. i`m noob :)

1. You need to know how petrol engine works.
2. Install WinOLS.
3. Find damos file and analyze it.
4. Find other guys tuned files and look what is changed.
5. Do simple changes on your car, test it, do some logs. Make more changes, do some test, logs again.

At the end it's not so hard, but it's not so easy too.

a lot is learned from basic editing of a file in winols. It is suprising how fast you will pick things up. Youtube has a few guides

After you can work with winols ;-) more simple to find maps , it s my tip to start
