I am new to this, Recently looked at the software KessV2, Couldn't quiet make out weather is application is souly for Loading and reading Or that and tuning.

Could anybody recommend something for me? Just something I can learn from to get me started? Or maybe there is a similar thread somewhere somebody could link me to?

Currently have a 2.2 DTI Omega 2002 to learn with, Searched around and there doesnt seem to many base maps available for these cars. Maybe its cause there not as popular as the modern Diesels.

Anyway any information is much appreciated.

KESS is for reading and writing only. You will need different software for editing/tuning the bin. I like TunerPro as it is free and good for playing around. The difficulty is finding Damos/A2L files that show where the maps are in the bin so you can create yourself a TunerPro definition file (unless one exists for your car).

Also is there any websites that host bin files, Not sure where il find omega one.

I'm sure the Galleto 1260 is a cheaper option and should be compatible google "galleto 1260" :D
