i have 1.9tdi VW Polo PD100 ATD and want to do a stage one tune, i am using vagsuite and i have attached my ori and tuned file with changes to Wish, TL, Smoke & Map as well as boost map & N75(only changed the X axis from 45 to 50mg) Can somebody please check my tune and tell me if im heading in the right direction. Thanks

torque needs to smooth down from 3500rpm..
when changing boost you need to change limiters also

Very BAD tune.
Question: why did you set only at 4200 rpm.

drivers wish is wrong. you only need to adjust the 100 and 85 % columns and maybe 65 if you really want to. in your drivers wish you have max ix at 100 and at 85%. this is not correct.

you have to raise your boost to really get more of a noticeable gain. you should not change anything in your n75 duty cycle without taking logs with vcds.

in your launch control map you made everything 100% injection. just know that you have a single value boost limit which is at 5300. you do not want to push your engine that far into the red especially not a low powered tune like yours.

smoke limiters are all wrong, it looks like you have no idea on how to tune them. torque limiter is also wrong.

by looking at your file it looks like you are doing allot of guess work? you are not working things out.


why did you lower the values on iQ by intake temp? if you want to tune this map you should make them all 100

Hi, when you are doing stage 1 tune, i would change your MAP switch to MAF. Alot easier to and completly working on low stage 1 tunes. And in that case you can just max your IQ by temp since it wont matter anymore.
