Hi
Have a bad ecu after programing is there a way to recover?
I have used original bmw hardware to update when it whent bad, now it can't be read through odb

Make a BDM read of the ECU.

I have tryied, i have a galletto 2 , i tryied with bdm part of it but no luck
It canot read
i connected with a bdm frame, and added power to 1,3,7 and ground to 2,4,
what did i do wrong could you help?

Some Galetos V2 have problems with BDM reading. Maybe yours is one of them. Find a BDM100 programer. This one can read your ECU with no problems at all.
When you do a BDM read the best way is to power up the ECU thru the BDM programer.

CMD software is ok for the job. Read the user manual to see how to make a connection to the ECUs BDM port.

BDM 100 works fine on BMW ECU,s
Some clone BDM 100 units do not provide power for the ecu need to use external power.
Ck the manual for proper connections.
