Hi,

New to the site and ECU tuning so bear with me.

I have a 2008 VW Jetta 2.0 TDI with DSG.

I want to edit the ecu file to enable left foot braking.

I have a MPPS cable and have managed to download the ECU file.

I am lead to believe there are two table that effect this, "minimum RPM for throttle limiting with brake applied" and minimum speed for throttle limiting with brake applied"

So this is where I run out of knowledge, what software do I use to edit these tables and how do I find the address.

first of all you should go to this section introduce-yourself . next you should give more details like number ecu,software etc . but best way will be when you give your ori file , then we can help.

Here is some more detail from MPPS:

Bosch Hardware Number 03G906021AN
VW Software Number 03G906021PP
System Type Number R4 2,0L EDC G000AG

The ECU is a Bosch EDC16 unit.

I have also uploaded the tune file.

i think this is correct addres to min RPM limiting with break 1C2972 and in first block 18645E . i cant find min speed. but you can test this addreses. let me know how test ;)

Is there any feedback to this solution?
Has "left foot braking" feature been enabled?
Is this solution also applicable for Jetta TDI BKC (production year 2005 )?

I have not enough knowledge and hardware (cable) to export ecu file.
On monday I go to professional tuner.
But it would be fine to know, whether the operation have chance of success.
In case of potential problems, it's good to give the tuner some tips.

If we don't manage to modify ecu file accordingly, I'll upload my file and ask for help.
