ASZ file

Postby boiler » Sun Feb 18, 2018 10:29 pm

Hi, this is my first share of a file. No in the ecu at the moment, need some opinions.
I've read guides, see several files and wanted to try my own.

I think i've changed all limiters;
DW - changed a bit 56%, 80% and 100%, wanted to avoid big gaps
TL - think it's safe, my car runs on a single mass flywheel converter
SL - last 2 columns adjusted so it comply with TL
Start of Injection - just extended the axis, really don't know how to tune it. (my first doubt)
Durations - extended axis in all of them, and increased 2 degrees for each 5mg IQ (it should be near the right values)
Target Boost - changed last column to 58IQ and increased boost, is this correct or should I keep the 55mg and extend axis to 58mg? (my second doubt)

It's a seat ibiza PD130 ASZ, like said above converted to a single mass flywheel, decated with original backbox. Hoping to be near 170bhp.

Any considerations are welcome and for first share please be gentle :D

8 people had the curiosity of download the file but none made any comment...I want to believe that this is the "mother" of all the files in here! (irony)
You may say that this will broke my engine, that this will bring 132bhp...or that this is sh1t file! But say, don't just download.
Isn't the forum aim share information? Constructive criticism? I know that you are all fed up of this files.

First of all, I am not an experienced tuner but I will try to give you my opinion ;)

Your drivers wish is wrong, you ask for 70mg at 80 and 100% throttle, this means that there won't be a difference between full throttle and 80%.

It doesn't look like you calculated your smokemap correctly, it looks like you just multiplied the stock numbers by a given % which isn't the ideal way of tuning. Your afr is around 15 that is really rich and the car will smoke.

The torquemap looks agressive to me as your max torque is already @2000rpm. From my understanding your peak torque should be in the 2400-2700 area but I could be wrong.

Your boost limit should be atleast 100mbar higher than target.

As from my understanding you don't need to touch SOI and Durations on a stage 1 reamp But again I could be wrong

Thank you , I've already corrected all the issues and tested! The clutch can cope well with that TL.
It gave me a little above 170bhp on dyno :)
