For example soi is scaled only to 60mg and you want 70mg i would suggest atleast same eoi as 60 mg or later

By extrapolation i meant linearly predict new values based on known ones

Something is way off with my tables or calculations... My calculated EOI still way off... i have NO IDEIA...

So lets try to do this:

Random pick:
RPM - 1500
IQ - 20mm3
SOI = 5.1 BTDC

Rail Pressure - 389 (rounding to 400)

Duration = 817us | 817 / (((60/1500)/360)*10^6) = 7,353 degrees, right?

EOI = 5,1 BTDC + 7,3 ATDC = 2,2 ATDC

Is this correct? Or am i dumb? :shock:

On this case, the number is ok for a EOI, but when using values like SOI 23ºBTDC , the result is way off

Do you have more SOI maps or just one? Also durations only one or more?

The result you posted is correct

Jurebv, on this thread 1st-tune-stoic-linear-edc16-pd-1-9-tdi-t17197 you said:

jurebv wrote: "Start Of Injection Maps - extended axis for 60 iq by calculating EOI for 55 iq then calculated SOI for 60 iq using duration selector"

What do you mean with "using duration selector"?

And BTW thanks for the help!

My engine is different its a PD (Pump Duse) engine and your is CR (common rail) , i only have one pressure to work with and my SOI is limited and your is not, my ecu has duration selector (and soi selector) because it has 5 duration and 9 soi maps

I believe the most confusing thing in this and why you are getting crazy values for duration on high rpm is that these values were never gonna be used at this rpm, you will never use 50 iq on 4500rpm with 1400mbars pressure so values not are calculated. do you get same values with EOI builder?

On EOI_Build everything is normal.. but when i calculate the values, with for example SOI 23 BTDC and 5 degrees of duration, the EOI is waaaaay off!

But i think it is what you said, the value is never reached

See for yourself, pick the last values of SOI and Duration and do the math

OK, i found the problem!! My ms to Degrees was wrong! The formula works, and i tried it on a diferent office (2007) and the results where much better.... (maybe because of using "," and "." on the numbers)
