Hi,
i have the same car -delta MY2010 1.8 tbi (actualy my wife's car - i drive SAAB 9-5). After changing 2 times the core assembly (last time with Mellett) i got pissed off and ordered an original k04 for Alfa. However due to the different a/r i will have to modify slightly the boost maps. I'm total noob in tuning MED ecu's - my experience is with SAAB T7 where i can make anything between 200 and 500 bhp with ease,butthis is something new to me.
What hardware do i need to read/flash that ECU? And please start with the cheap (but relatively stable) ones - i'm not planing to sell tunes or make money with that hardware so it will be a toy - not an investment.
Is it easy to brick the ECU and in such case does it support BDM to recover?
Is there any hardware difference between 1.75tbi in Lancia (stock 200bhp) and Alfa 4c/Giulietta except the bigger turbocharger?
I guess the entire intake charge part and the exhaust are different - from what i see the charge pipe from k03 to the intecooler is a total bottleneck - i dont think its good even for 230bhp. Is the compression ratio (crankshaft/conrod/piston group) the same?
