Introduction

Postby davsmith64 » Thu Feb 14, 2013 11:21 pm

Hey all, I'm pretty sure I have introduced myself before.
I have stumbled across this forum and I think its BRILLIANT!!!! It is VERY VERY helpful and not full of people just here to try make money from other members.
I am a full time self employed mechanic and get a lot of customers coming in with DPF faults on their cars! Especially Citroen / Peugeots!
I have absolutely NO experience in WinOls or file modifying, However I do have software & hardware to read / write ecus. If I get vehicles that need DPF off, I take it out of the exhaust and send the car to a local tuner for the files modifying who charges me £200 a time.

Anyway enough of me going on and on! I am trying to learn the basics of DPF removal & EGR removal (not interested in performance tuning ect). However I am not going to pester you all and ask for you to literally do it for me. I'm reading all the related topics and seeing how they are overcoming these problems and trying to teach myself. I REFUSE to use ECUSAFE as I heard a lot of bad stories!! Manually modifying all the way!!

Thanks Dave
