Some of the EDC16 limits to NM and IQ are time averaged where others are instant, so you can easily pop corn the EDC16 by setting an IQ to go from full to zero in 10rpm for example but why would you!?! It is terrible for the engine and transmission, which is why the manufacturer has moved to soft limiting.

Hi there guys,

When I first started I had a hard time to undestrand how diesel cars Rev Limit like a Benzin Engine. Well Here is my overview and how I made it work.
Event tho that I did not use SVRL (Single Value Rev Limiter), because I did not find it on my car, I used instead a Gap of 5 Rpm on my torque map, this produces my rev limit to bounce quite fast, but even tho I wanted it to sound strong it was quite a weak sound, one hack that you could make is to increes the amount of fueling on the end ( This is not made into my example but I had tried it a couple a weeks ago ).

4800 Rpm - 65mm
5200 Rpm - 63mm
5290 Rpm - 63mm
5300 Rpm - 80-90mm
5305 Rpm - 0mm

Hello, anyone could help me achieve rev limiter on bmw edc15c4? I have found all the needed maps using winols just lack basic logic as to what values to change atm all my limiters are set to 61mm3 from 700rpm till 4600?
