KESS v2 Master - original or clone?

Postby cata0909 » Wed Sep 25, 2019 9:29 pm

Hi all,

I've recently got a kess v2 master unit.
I got it from a friend who purchased a car and found it in the trunk. Didn't know what to do with it, and gave it to me.

How can i find if is original or clone, and if is a "good" or "bad" clone?

Also, from what i found out that KSuite is the software for it. Should i try with the version from alientech website?

Thanks

Post a picture of it, it's probably a clone

I got hands on it today. Judging by the sticker on the back, seems it's a clone.

Is there a good and bad clone for this?
It's ok to use it to read/write?
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

Is of any good?

I've already read with it my ecu (2001 bmw 320D), and seems to be working.
I opened it in ECM Titanium, seems to be ok.

I have the "power reduction" package on my bmw (i have 95kw instead of 100kw), i want to write an original 100kw (136hp) file.
Should i risk with this clone?

It's an old Chinese clone.... it will probably kill a car soon, very risky

Do not write just any file on it...

send me what you read out of it, and i'll send you a file to write...
