I'm Benjamin, i'm another from Reunion Island (we are about 3 or 4 in your forum, it seems...)
I bought an e39 525tds, and tuning it is interesting me... I have never do anything on ecus, i'm here to learn ;)
I'm also the owner of a 325i e30, a 730i and 735i e32, and a 525 tds touring e34...
All the fuel cars are for race track, and the diesels are for road (small island but a lot of road and kilometers each year!)
I'm very concerned by performance tuning, because i'm the only one in the island who gives chrono timing in the local "run" activity : 201 meters, like dragsters, but smaller, and in a slight slope!
