Can i read ecu through this Bluetooth OBD E4 adapter?

Postby bebeli555 » Mon Aug 31, 2020 7:10 pm

So could i read my bikes cpu with this bluetooth adapter. They have an APP that is used by the adapter you can do a couple of things with the app like change some of the ecu settings and monitor it but not what i want. So would it be possible to use this bluetooth adapter to read the ecu and then write a new program to it. (The app does that so it should be possible) <- Unless the ecu has some built in interface for that app and it just executes the requests but i doubt that

Heres the adapter: https://www.newmotorz.com/pieces-dax-bu ... bd-e4.html
Heres the same one in different store: https://www.motorkit.com/en/injection-r ... ction.html

So if i were to buy that adapter now and plug it into my bike could i read and write the ecu with normal tuning software? Would they be compatible with that.

Why would you even want to flash an ECU with a wireless connection. thats just asking for problems, and no you cant use that cable for direct flashing. it is task spesific
