I've already read ECU with Kess V2 from my VW mk6 2.0 TDI. Using WinOLS and ECM Titanium I found out some maps. Does mileage map exist there? As far as I know ECU stores mileage informations separately from instrument cluster.

KESS V2 can only access the flash (map) area via OBD2 port. Am I right? Is it possible to read EEPROM with KESS V2 via TRI-Core cable? Does exist any other way to read EEPROM via OBD2 port? KTAG can read/write EEPROM but I must disassemble ECU.

Which device`s cable are you talking about? What are ORI tools? ECU should be taken off from car but not completely opened in this case? I was talking about EEPROM access via OBD2 port. What device and cable do you use to read/write EEPROM ?
