after learning to locate my own maps in the dump from my ecu, ive taken a stab at creating my first map to fit the upgrades on my car

2001 vw golf 1.9tdi alh
-PD150 intake
-11mm pump with PP764 0.232 nozzles
-VNT17vb
-3" downpipe
-forge smic
-G60/VR6 clutch
-EGR delete

I still need to run some logs to see if its a decent baseline tune compared to the stock file, check smoke levels and that VCDS reads my extended diagnostic limits. My goal is to make 180hp/400nm at 4000rpm, which should be easily within range given my modifications.

Are you running a 3 bar map sensor?

It doesn't look like you changed the SOI at all. You'll want to do that. You should be able to run a max of 18* to 20* BTDC.

You will likely need to reduce the N75 some, especially in the top end. You'll know for sure after you do some logs.

Actually I copied the SOI map from the automatic codeblock (with oem 11mm pump) to the manual codeblock. I wanted to make sure I had a viable Pump Voltage map before modifying more maps, since I made a huge amount of changes at one time. I've taken the pump voltage map from the automatic codeblock as well.and copied it to the manual codeblock.

I flashed and logged with these maps, and it seems like everything is relatively in order from what I can tell in blocks 8 and 11. Actual boost matches requested boost at most of the range but still needs adjustment, and delivered IQ follows the smoke map. IQ at idle was high at around 8mg/stroke so maybe more adjustment to the Pump Voltage to account for the 0.232 nozzles. Adaptation is set at 32786 so Ill need to get the IQ down to around 5mg and check the mechanical injection timing as well.

I just finished another revision with increased SOI values closer to the SOI limiter at the high end and flattened the area with ATDC values. Small changes to start with since this is my daily driver! Also another version with further increasesd SOI, copied the values from RobNitros map for 11mm pump with 0.234 nozzles, lets see how that one turns out
