I've searched the forum and I can't find a lot of information on volumetric efficiency (VE).
So what I'm actually wondering is should the VE not be modified after/during a tuning.

From my understanding, the VE is the amount of air that enters your engine at a given Rpm, which is calculated from the amount of air vs the displacement (cc) of the engine.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I suppose for a simple stage 1 tuning it's not a catastrophe if the VE is incorrect, but if you go further than a stage 1 it could impact more than you think.
Even with a stage one, why wouldn't you change the VE?
You raise boost, which results in more air being pushed into the cylinder, which eventually leads to a higher VE.
Now why would you change the VE?
The VE is responsible for optimum calibration of your AFR. If your VE is incorrect, and you enter an AFR of 17, depending on the decalibration of the VE you could end up with an AFR of 16 or 17.
So how do I calculate VE after a tuning where I raise boost with more than 0.5 bar.
If my ori air intake is 1150 mg air/R but I end up with 1450 mg air/R.
In an ideal world where the weather and altitude are always the same, you don't need to tune the VE, but I'm starting the be more and more certain of the fact that this is an important step in tuning that is not discussed a lot.
So I would like your opinion on the matter.
