Hello guys,

I've got a problem. Yesterday I read out my ECU (EDC16u34) with MPPS. No problem at all, it dumped the file nicely.
After that I edited the software slightly, made a checksum check with WinOls and wanted to write it back to the ecu, but now I I only get the message "no reply from ecu". Can't even read the id anymore. Car starts and drives like usual.

Does someone know, what could be the problem ?

Try to clean obd socket in car and in mpps cable.

I yesterday tried to read out an Skoda Roomster 1.4L, same problem... No reply from ECU
After that the car didn't start anymore !
Had to unplug the the ECU for a few minutes, after that car is working again.
MPPS cable broken ?
