I have a 2015 mercedes sprinter diesel 3.0 blue tech, i am looking for software that i can get into the ecm to diagnos or trouble shoot. I have an autel ms906BT, which gives me codes but doesnt allow me to get farther into the system. It did allow for me to reset the limp at one time but now just stays in the limp. It has a code pertaining to fault in adblue system. Cant erase the fault code and need a method to give a better description of where to look in the adblue system for the fault. I have heard of the xentry system but i dont want the version that requires membership or continuous fees. Is there such a version? Is there something else in diagnostic programs that is better than xentry?

Nothing better than MB START and XENTRY, you get faultcodes, descriptions and what verifications must do related to fault code.

I recently bought the xentry system open shell works without subscription. I was able to get into the ecu and get information and run tests on the ad blue system. Could do a manual regen and manually test all the components of the def system, everything worked on the tests. Keep getting the code P16CF00, which is a malfunction in the ad blue system. Tried to reset adblue system but then gives me a success status or gives me a fault note, or unknown varient on some fields. If i erase the codes they come right back. I am at the opinion that with the new computer ecm it is not communicating with the scr controller ? Van still runs but is stuck in limp mode. The control unit variants match on the tech portion of the plateform but there is extra code added to the new ecu that is not on the old ecu. Where do i go from here?
