I came across the term 'extrapolation' while searching usual ecu tuning forums. Even one particular file service provider specifically emphasis this method. It comes up as first link on google if you search 'extrapolation tuning' on google.
i have read all forum discussions here (37) and there, on yutube as well. It basically says if out of axis extrapolation then an algorithm guessing what is the best next possible value can be, and if inside of the axis interpolation. They are too much technical for us=ordinary fellows to comprehend its fundamentals. Ho come it works by guessing this much precise and sophisticated mathematical calculation? and so and so forth.
Could you (and if that person, who says he does this method only, is on this forum) please explain this concept in a plain language with some simple understandable daily life analogies?
