r32 no read on bench

Hi I am trying to bench an efh ecu and it wont read I am using mpps master original and it keeps asying no boot read.I have done the pin 24 with stable voltage all pin s correct.Any help appreciated,

Desolder the flash chip and read it with eprom programmer.

Hi Thankyou for replying I was hoping to try and bench it before I desolder.I totally see what you mean I could have pulled the chip days ago but i want to learn how to do these ecu's,
