Ross is right. Your iq has changed, as so your nature of torque limiter graph is changed as well,
So you have to recalculate precontrol to suit your new iq,
tl graph nature and new pressure, to avoid deviations.

I am not able to look your files or videos right now
i am faar away from home and Pc for two weeks ;)

But i can contribute from time to time based on posts.

Alex dont touch calibration maps just touch your rail pressure map if you touch calibratios for example :ecu calculate like1300bar so calibrate map tell how in % of RCO need open rail regulator, for example 50% rco to get 1300bar si if you aumont calibration you are telling to ecu need example 60% to get 1300 bar but its not rigth so there you have the problem when ecu need a 1300 bar get more so there is a fault i think

I don't intend to touch calibration maps of things that I don't know how to calibrate (like Injection duration).
I will recalibrate r.p. precontrol valve because I have something in mind :idea: that will make things better. :)
The way I intend to recalibrate will involve heavy logging :geek:
Of course I'll share everything here once I have time to try and hopefully succeed :D

Yep, logging your actual duty cycle for a given rail pressure is the way to go - You can then correct the pre-control map with these values which should help a lot.
Of course if it doesnt help, just put it back to stock! ;)

Do EDC16s have this ?
I can see I have rail duty varying from 38% 1500rpm to 29% from 3000rpm onwards WOT/
I can see its at 38% when idling.
But I cant for the life of me find a damn map with those values.
:(

N75, IMRC, EGR duty no problem :?

You need to understand how it works - The precontrol map sets an initial value for the ECU to set the valve duty cycle at. If rail pressure is then not what is specified in the rail pressure map, this initial value is modified by the PID loop so that the correct pressure is then obtained. What you are seeing in the logs\live data is the value after it has been modified.

Remember that EDC16 is quite different to EDC15 in regards to the high pressure pump. EDC16 will have a CP3 pump which is quite different to control than the CP1 pump in EDC15, therefore you cannot really compare EDC15 duty cycles to EDC16 I wouldnt have though.

Careful, N75 is a VAG term ;) We are talking about a far superior engine here in the HDi :D

For the turbo control yes, thats why you have the duty cycle map. For EGR no, as its not a closed loop system like the rail and turbo control.
I'm not sure what you mean by IMRC though?
