You scaled most of your map axis to 70 mg but torque limiter stops at 65, also you need to smooth the maps (boost map will kick you in the ass) because values are to far a part. Don't modify SOI under 75 C , also take a look at duration 0 map. Check boost limiter and SVBL. For 65 mg you don't need 1.5 bar and your car will smoke like hell, i see you deleted smoke map (filled with 75 mg). You will kill your turbo, fry the exhaust manifold, fry tha cataitic converter, you will have extreme EGT in normal runing conditions

Hi,

firstly thank you for your response.

the folders go up to 70MG / stroke because I wanted to increase the torque limit to 68MG / stroke once I have better drive shafts. the engine is in a Citroen HY van from 1957, so the current drive shafts cannot handle even more power. but in a few weeks there will be new drive shafts.

the duration 0 map is still original. so don't quite understand what i should change about that?
I will reset the SOI map below 75 degrees to orginal.
I will also adjust the boost map scale so that the steps become smaller.

I removed the smoke map because I was short of power until 1500 RPM. while if it is removed I have enough power. (air mass meter has already been replaced) or is it smarter or the smokemap to increase slightly to 1500 RPM and leave it above that?

you were talking about the turbo pressure that I did not need a 2500 Mbar? at 65 MG. do you know how much turbo pressure it should have around 65MG? so I can adjust that.

the turbo pressure limiter and SVBL I have left on the values that were put in by a tunner when I had it chipped. could you explain to me what's not right about this so i can correct this?

the EGR is also capped and the catalyst is removed.

regards, Tom

Sorry, i was comparing your file with the file you supplied as ori, now i've reanalysed your file, still don't like the axis, you can push TL to 72 Mg, and also hate the SOI and DURATION, i don't understand why you lowered the values. For better economy, do the SL to 80 mg only at the last 2 atm pressure values and slightly increase the others, also, when cruising try to open your VNT (N75) from 30 to 40 mg (axis)

Hi,

do you mean SL the smoke limiter? my english is not very good.

should the axes of duration maps and start of injection maps also be adjusted so that they increase more smoothly?

SL-smoke limiter
For a stage 1 you should leave soi and duration untouched, especially if you don't know how to fine tun it. If you want, you can modify the last IQ value from the axis and calculate how much degrees you should add or decrease

Hi,

then I still have a problem and that is that the cruise control is not strong enough. it is not strong enough to maintain speed. while you have had enough with the throttle power. is there a special map for the cruise control? or is there an adjustment I can make so that the cruise control can inject more fuel if necessary to maintain speed.

yes, you need to modify the last value from torque axis in inverse driver wish map and set it to you max tq value from torque limiter

Hi,

I have viewed the inverse driver wish folder but it is completely empty? What do I have to do with this ?

See Appendix.
