Hi,
i just got into tuning bosch ecu and using winols, now im trying to learn how the ecu works if anyone has a reading material for MED17 i would be grateful, and if someone has complete damos or mappack i would be willing to pay for it as long as its not just stage 1/2 BS damos.
from my understanding the ecu doesnt use VE or MAF tables it uses torque to calculate fuel, i tried changing the optimum torque thinking it would remove torque management and traction control but i noticed it made it rich and lowered the timing.
i saw some service providers offer torque monitoring disable, what does this function do? is it torque management?
and there are tables like:
driver behavior?
calculation of driver command torque?
optimum ignition advance which there are 6 not sure if it based on vvt angle ?
ignition advance angle characteristic is this the knock learn correction table?
map calculation for nominal charge im wondering if this is the VVE table?
steady state temperature for homogeneous operation?
regarding air mass flow through throttle valve and desired throttle angle i made the value the same in the X-axis i believe the response improved not sure if those tables causes the lag/delay in input from the accelerator but another issue is at 130km/h the throttle drops down to 89% from 99% how do i keep it open?
another issue im having is finding a way to make the power enrichment kick in quicker, at wot the lambda is 1 in the first and second gear but from the third gear around 5000rpm the lambda change to target which is 0.83
i also want to know how to disable deceleration fuel cut and throttle cut rev limiter and use fuel cut rev limiter
