Suzuki Vitara - EGRoff problem

Postby vopi » Sun Dec 07, 2014 6:42 pm

Hi, please help me with EGRoff in this ECU EDC16C3 in Suzuki Vitara. This is Renault Engine 1.9DiD!
I tried modification from swiftec but after this car shows DTC DF209 and I can´t disconect EGR valve. And the car still has poor power.
Is there any solution which would allow unplug the EGR valve and ECU hasn´t any DTC?

thanks for help

I know this solution and it is the same like solution from swiftec which I have but after this modification car still shows DTC DF209 and I dont know how to disable this error because I dont have P code, only DF209! I know how to disable error in EDC16 but with this DTC DFxxx I have problem. Is there anybody who knows I to do it?

thanks

So I think you have electrical fault on EGR so If you can't switch off the DTC the only solution is to replace the EGR solenoid.

There are 2 types of EGR disable.
1 - EGR OFF - the EGR stays in place but does not operate. This is done via hysteresis maps.
2 - EGR DELETE/REMOVE - the EGR is completely removed from the engine and ECU sw. This is done with proper sw modifications.

In your case when you have DTC DF209 which is EGR position circuit fault you must make EGR DELETE.

There is no need for new EGR valve
