to read a optimized firmware GTI AXX

Postby Xxtreme » Sat May 03, 2014 9:58 pm

Hello,
I try to read an optimized firmware from a ECU but it stores only 805KB instead of from 2097kb, what can be wrong?

with my original AXX it is the full 2MB

The optimized Golf is a MK5 AXX K0907115

Can someone help me please, excuse my English

I would say your using mpps

And mpps respects NOREAD in file

thank you very much for your answer. Is there a way to read the content of the file?

look at the file by aby hex/text editor

if is there 'No read file has been encrypted' it means that file has been marked by 'no read'

use winhex - save ram of mpps while it want to select place to save file.

and u must find hw/sw numbers - and start and end of bin.

few hours and it can be done....

thanks again

The most I've found, but one thing makes me thinking
I have 2 files uploaded one original and one with a part that makes me confuse.
If you compare them to see what I mean
Are the maps (Kennfelder)? or data sektor?

Hello,
Nobody can help me?
have the file now written to the ECU, but unfortunately the engine goes into overdrive
I have the tuning line that confuses me is overwritten with my originals, it may be because

exceeded with the error message boost pressure limit!
where can I set the new limits?
