V-tec simulation on HDI Engine

Postby casianoros » Mon Oct 28, 2019 6:17 pm

I have been working on an interesting thing, a good friend of mine has a 2.0 hdi with 90 hp and no electronic turbo acculator, so we decided to make his care more economic under 2000rpm but with good acceleration over 2000rpm, so we simulated a Vti Engine with an increas of a good amount of fuel from a specific and short point of action.

Take a look this are the 2 files, i will post a video with the care soon it goes pritty well :-D, it is interesting to see a diesel boosting up from 2k rpm : )) looks fun we have tried the car and it does a little smoke and the difference is decent comparing how was in the begining, I decided to share this project with you guys since I had learn a lot from you :-D

2.0 Hdi 90 hp original Rhy Edc15

Hi! For me, the best thing for fuel economy was to increase the low end torque! This way you can stay on higher gears for longer and dont need to down shift when you want to acelerate hard! Good luck
