Volvo Vocom to K-Line

Hi everyone. My Vocom sits on my work bench and does nothing except when I need to flash or diagnose a Volvo, which I don't do often. Since the Volvo Vocom 1 supports K-Line, I was wondering if I could use it with other software like RP1210 or a pass-through device. I could try it myself, but some programs might require me to change the Vocom main cable, like M-CAT2, and I might regret it if it doesn't work in the end. So I need someone who has experience with this and can comment on it. Thanks.
