Put 2200 mbar its okay. You are righabout n146, you should copy asv map only if change pump plunger from 10mm with 11mm the actually plunger from ASV. Well just changed nozzles its okay to keep voltage map stock. Put 2200 mbar and its fine, check also for smoke to dont have too high EGT and damage turbo.

Understood. Will be bringing it up to 2200 mbar.

Now, one more question. Which limiting map is responsible for telling the car to go into limp mode due to a boost spike? SVBL or the boost pressure limiter (atmospheric)?

Reason I ask is that I again got a limp mode due to overboost at around 160km/h (don't ask) and about 3000 RPM (I have a lower 5th gear ratio installed).

I usually get a boost spike to about 1500mbar (2500mbar absolute pressure) on full throttle, and then it settles around 2152mbar (absolute pressure) sustained. Not at all bad for the turbo, so I think my N75 map is behaving correctly. I should have about +50mbar difference in the limiter maps compared to requested boost?

I raised my X-axis description on N75 last column from 45 IQ to 50 IQ for better control at my max fueling (50mg), and the peak N75 maps have been raised by about 8%, but I can go up to 10% if needed. Will continue to monitor with VCDS.

Another topic:

If I do Mass Air Flow logging in g/sec at wide open throttle... the following calculation should give me the estimated air quantity at a certain RPM (intake + boosted air; my EGR air intake is turned off so no other air source):

(g/s) x60 = g/min
(g/min) x1000 = mg/min
(mg/min) / RPM = mg/revolution
(mg/rev) / 2 (because there are 2 strokes per revolution) = mg/stroke

SVBL is responsible for limp mode. The maximum deviation is 300 or 400 mbar, well if you have 2250 maximum limit svbl(put it 2250), and you measure 2550 2600 its bad and risky. Increase last column with 10 to 15% dont worry about loosing power, PID controller will close a bit vanes if need to achieve pressure. If still overboost, then you have sticky vanes or weak actuator spring.

Ok, great. Excellent info. I was afraid I'd be losing power if I raise N75 even more.

My vanes should be clean, as I've chemically cleaned the turbo twice, and before the tune, I got no more limp modes for many months. I'll check vacuum system as well.
So far I'm very happy with the tune. Thank you for all the feedback, I learned a bunch. Hope it's a good learning experience for others watching.

You will not loose power until you open vanes too much, maybe the little 10mm nut is adjusted for too closed position. Better lower power than fucked turbo. I can tell you that several overboots to 2400 2500 will blow instantly that little ALH turbo when you want to overtake some cars.

If I wanted to install a 3bar MAP sensor (instead of the 2.5bar one), where would I find MAP Sensor (manifold air pressure) maps in my EDC15? Or what do they usually look like? VAGEDCSuite doesn't automatically have them, and I'm not sure where to look yet.

OK, it seems I have answered my own question just now.

Address = 0749F0 (16 bit)
989 2600
82 200

And should change to something like:
989 3120
82 200

OR (from PD130 engine)

951 3000
82 200
