What do you perfer!

Postby djbalkanac » Tue Oct 02, 2012 7:26 pm

I am searching every day a tuning hardware for ECU flash...
I already own MPPS V5, but its a bit old version and i need to upgrade, beacuse i takes me to connect to the ECU min. 10 trys to start reading from ECU

So what do you perfer and how much possibility its to burn ECU if you read files in "slow"

I found for reasonability price chip tuning tools:
Mpps v12
Mpps v13
KWP2000+
Galletto 2 V51
FGTech Galletto 2-Master EOBD2 With BDM Function or FGTech Galletto 2-Master BDM-TriCore-OBD
KESS OBD TUNING KIT
MAG PRO2 V4.1 ECU tuning tool

Don't waste your time with those products, get yourself the following products, and you will have the ability to read almost every ECU in existence.

New genius - see through unit, this will allow you to read al oat all ecus through the obd port including the TRICORE ecus!
Galletto 2 clone - this will allow you to also read MANY ecus through obd port aswell as use boot mode

I own many other tools also, and only find myself using these two tools and have yet to be stuck.

In mentioned above,
kwp2000+ is very stable but covers not too much
mpps v12 is nice one - stable as well
in general several problems with galleto clones...

with clones you also must have some luck

MPPS V12(tested by me) works well on VAG's(EDC15+EDC16).Opel EDC15, MINI Cooper (gasoline, Siemens EMS),Renault(Delphi+EDC 15),Mercedes EDC15.
On VAG'S no need to remove dashbord fuse.

which year model mini's? MPPS cannot get around tuner protection -- so how are you using MPPS with Tuner protection?
