WinOLS and ECM Titanium

Postby Escort » Sun Aug 25, 2019 11:16 pm

Hi ther,
I put away my New Genius today because i started having a interest for the maps.
So i read out my Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 2005 with Kess and have now played with ECM for a hvile.
But i can`t find any plase in ECM where i can se or alter the vin nr, am i not looking hard enouh ?

When i open the file in WinOLS i see there is a posibility to set different things in the "Project Properties", like the vin nr.
I find it strange that it is not set there alredy, or visable. Just a field called VIN that is emty.
I must be looking at this the wrong way, or the wrong plase.

As always mates, sorry for my bad English.

Cheers

Winols has Simply more things You can see on file because damos and map packs are created by disassembling ECU files.

ECM Is more user friendly than winols and more focused on map zone and tuning.

Best way Is to use winols and ECM together, take the Maps from winols, add them to ECM then modify 8-)
