I am not sure if I understood you correctly but I will try :)
1) With the software you use, e.g. WinOLS, you can see checksum errors if there are any. And if there are any errors within the maps (bad remapping) you will see that while driving the car if you will be able to start the engine. If you would like to knwo about general errors you need to do diagnosis ...
2) Usually no private person has damos but if you have one :mrgreen: just load it into your software and use the information shown on the left side ...
3) That would be the same software which you used to make it abnormal. But usually you should have original read of your ecu so you can use that
