No reply from ecu EDC16U34 moded file

Postby Silvach » Wed Mar 05, 2014 8:21 pm

Hy guys,

I just wanted to chiptune friend car and when i put the moded map to the car mpps says that some "condition" is wrong. Map is 100% uploaded.
Then i put the original map on and ECU wakes up...

Tried to change only one number and i changed SVBL from 2350mbar to 2450mbar. Went uploading the map only with this change and again same problem...
I used winols2.24.

Really don't know what 2 do.

Can some 1 help please.
Maybe ECU i some kind locked from being chiped???

Car is Golf mk5 1.9tdi pd 105ps EDC16U34 ecu

Yesterday i again go to winols and fined that he didn't do checksum automatically so i did it by confirming it... Ill try today again upload the map...

One question,
I changed torque, svbl, boost limiter, boost map, smoke map.
Do i have to change the nm to mg map to?

Try rewrite via BDM port!
100% work, but not with mpps

Hi m8,
I had the same problem last week. But I read the original file twice .Between two readings there was a difference.First read was bad(while reading I don't have stopped all consumers, radio, etc).Secont read was made later with all consumers stoped,Second original file was good. I rewrote the ori file with MPPS in slow mode but before that I disconnected the battery for several minutes and I shorted the battery terminals. It worked perfectly.
Try to find a good original file for your ECU and see if your original read is good or bad.
Can taste also your ori file with ECM Titanium. If it's a good reading than ECM will show you the driver. If not, you have a bad read m8.

Here are the ".rar" file with moded and original file.
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.
