Bad practice in chip tunning (what rookies should not do)

hello

new in tunning I first search before I desiding to contribute.

I found a interesting document that explain what shouldn't be done in tunned bin and also why it's risky for the engin, or simply eneficient.
Some of them can be confirm on many post on this site : like changing rail pressure Map without changing SVRPL.

It also explain the ECU management system between input and output : with regulation and limitation mecanism.

This is base on HDI engine but I suppose other regulation /limitation for other commercial name are base on same mecanism.

Interesting and informative.

Understanding how the air and fuel is controlled on any system is key to understanding how to tune the system.
I have always been suspicious of these cheap maps. I am sure that there are many ways to increase fuel entering the engine.
But the best and safest way to match the fuel quanity and timing with air flow requirement is the way forward.
