Reading ECU in 2005 Ctroen C5 2.2L HDI using MPPS cable

Finally I got MPPS cable delivered and do have question.
After setting right parameters for my car and ID ECU I noticed within MPPS software

under Read Option :

Full Read (Kline Only)
Data Only (Default)
and
grayed out and ticked
Security Bypass (Default Edc15 Only)

under Speed Option:

Fast (Bench Flashing)
Medium (Default)
and
Slow (Recovery Mode)

I read my file with this default setting and it come up with "ECU flash read correctly" and let me save this file.

Is this correct way to do it or do I need set it to Full Read or other settings adjusted?

For normal Tuning Data only should be enough.

Thanks, I forgot to mention that I am planing to delete all reference to DPF and anti pollution related items is this considered as normal Tuning?
Also I would like to have good original Backup File as I can get just in case

For a good original Backup BDM is the best way,..

No idea what BDM is.
My question was what parameters to use when reading and writing date from and to the ECU using MPPS software and hardware.
Anyone ?

BDM is where you remove the ECU, open it and directly connect to the ECU through the pinouts and/or solder points on the ECU.

The setup you have for the MPPS is generally OK for what your doing, however as said above, BDM is always good for a proper back up. Is the ECU can or K-Line on this model? I'm assuming K-Line?
