Good afternoon everyone! I’m another new member. My name is FAL and i am from the United Kingdom. I’m not very good at these sorts of introductions, but here goes…

I started in the automotive industry with FIAT, when i left school seventeen years ago and then eight years ago i became involved in the area of automotive electronics. I currently specialise in BMW Group, Volkswagen Group and Aston Martin Lagonda - with a wide selection of manufacturer and main-dealer software/hardware at my disposal (i’m a self-confessed Ediabas addict). I've started writing my own bits-and-pieces of software in C/C++, along with tinkering with Java. As a kind of "reference", this is the sort of member that i am: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/search.php?searchid=601906

I can do pretty-much everything i want. However, i want to start removing immobilisers and top-speed limiters, along with cloning complete engine ECUs, so that i can help with kit-cars, engine-swaps and track-day/club-level vehicles. I’ve found this forum an excellent starting-point, and i very much look forward to talking to and helping other members, in the future...

Kind Regards,
FAL
