From what I can tell this is a very good file it works perfect on a 2001 golf with engine code AJM.
there is bags of torque at low rpm which is good to save on fuel and a bit more power though the rev range

Can you tell me what it was you changed and by how much ?

Just had a quick look at this file and there is a few things i wouldn't have done.

First problem is smoke map is wrong. Last colomn on X axis reads 104.2, this i'm taking is supposed to be 1042? Another problem is i'm suprised this car aint smoking badly asking for a max of 61.30mg/fuel for only 900mg of air that is an AFR of 14.6, i wouldn't go any lower than 17:1 so for 900 you'd be looking at a max of 53.94mg of fuel.

I would also keep last axis unchanged at 1000mg of air. I'll explain soon.

Turbo request map too high for this tiny vnt15 turbo. Requesting 2.22bar when standard SVBL is 2.2. Also you have raised the SVBl to 2.25 but the actual atmospheric limiter map has a limit of 2.376. SO if the boost over swings you will probs get a MIL light on dash. The atmospheric limiter map should IMHO be just about 50mbar over what you are requesting.

So back to smoke map and turbo map. I would leave the smoke at 1000 since even when stock the car may never even reach this figure e.g. 474 (cylinder capacity = 1896cc /4) * 2.1bar (standard turbo map value) = 995mg of air. Now if we raised the turbo map only by 50mbar to 2.15 we get 1019mg of air so for the 17:1 ratio we could now inject 59.94mg of fuel instead of 58.52mg for 995mg of air.

The max I would raise this turbo too would be 2.175 have the limiter set too 2.225 and the single value boost level in system too 2.250.

In the n75 map, there is a value of 37% at 3003 rpm for 45mg of fuel (guessing another mistake) and also i personally wouldn't have altered the axis to 61.30 mg as if the table was to 50mg, anything more than this and the ECU would use the 50mg colomn anyway.

- rowly747, yes,it is a few mistakes, :crazy:

- the smoke map axis column are 10000=1000, not 104.2 and yes it supposed to be a 1042 from my calculation, but I left it untouch.

- in N75 map, it was a tipping mistake, it have to be 338`6,not 6`338

- in a smoke map,value 61.3 in 900mg air,are somehow copied from the right column you see value are the same with the right column value.

- back to smoke and turbo map. turbo map was raised to 2.2 just to test it. :roll:
So if we now calculate 474 x 2.2 bar = "1042" then 1042/17 afr = 61.3 (from smoke map)

- in boost limiter map, there is a some mistake :( , like you say value must to go little bit higher that I make it, to prevent over boost swings.

Hello dean21b, will please tell me the part number on your MAF sensor?

Im sorry, i dont know the number, it was an original part for sure ajm code engine.
