Hi,
I have been looking through the original file for my car to find the maps for a 'stage 1' type tune.

So far i have -
Drivers Wish - 019CC and 399CC
Torque Limiter - 03F10 and 3BF10
Smoke Limiter - 03FEE and 3BFEE
EGR - 01D6E and 39D6E
Pump Voltage - 04FAA and 3CFAA
Start of Injection - 07B86 and 3FB86
Boost Target - 054FE and 0567A
Boost Limit - 3D4FE and 0567A
Inverse Drivers Wish - 396B8
SVBL - 052BC

Could anyone advise me if I have identified these maps correctly please?

Do I need to change the SOI or pump voltage for a basic tune or can I just edit drivers wish, torque and smoke limits, and boost map?

I'm using the trial version of winols, can anyone suggest a solution for checksums please?

Hi you tried using vagedcsuite? This will display some maps for you and has a built in checksum. Also with demo version of winols unfortuantely you cannot export the file once you have changed it...

Hi,

VAGsuite recognises only 2 maps in this MSA15 ECU.

I have a quite a few hours spent in winols now so will just stick with it.

I have actually produced a tuned file now, see my thread in Rate my Tune. Would appreciate any feedback on it.

Have now got my file working in EDC suite, the merge file option in it was messing up the file.

Have exported my binary as 1 file from winols and got auto map detection.
