Difference between codeblocks, MSA15

Hi,

I am putting together my first ever tuned file for my car which is Audi A4 1.9 TDI, AHU.

I have noticed there are differences between the axes values on the 2 codeblocks, why is this?

Which of the 2 codeblocks will I be running on in a manual car or is it not as simple as that?

Was planning to make both blocks the same, is it ok to just copy complete maps and axes values from 1 codeblock to the other?

Have answered my own question by doing some further reading.

The 2 codeblocks are for auto and manual transmission.

The only map that differs is the drivers wish. One has greater resolution from 0 to around 2000 rpm, the other has greater resolution above this.

Not sure which is which but I have interpolated the values and should get the same result using either map.

Yes you can. In VAG MSA15 & EDC15 ECUs you can easily find 2 16 LoHi (per code-block) values which will tell you to which ECU coding this block belongs to - they look like 0000x 0010x where x is last number of ECU coding.

Sometimes it is easier just to look at torque limier to tell if it is code-block related to manual or automatic transmission...
